Abstract of the Will of Thomas Tyttensore the elder of Penkhull 1588,
“On 17 July 1588, the 30th year of Queen Elizabeth’s reign, I, Thomas Tyttensore the elder of Penkhull in the county of Stafford, yeoman, make my last will and testament.

I Roger Tittensor of Penkhull, of the Parish of Stoke-on-Trent Yeoman.
I appoint my loving wife and my son Roger to have this tuition of my daughter Mary Tittensor

Terrick Mary 1808  The last will and testament of Mary Terrick, spinster of Newcastle dated 28th February 1809
First I will and direct that all my debts and funeral expenses and the expenses of providing this my Will be paid as soon as conveniently

In the name of God, Amen, I, John Terrick of Penckhull in the parish of Stoke upon Trent in the County of Stafford, Gent., being of sound mind memory & understanding, do make this my last will and testament in manner & form following,

The jury present that Richard Smith has died since the last frankpledge and held three acres of customary land in Penkhull and that Robert Smith is the next heir and of full age.
